Ebner Stolz advises DELFINGEN Group on the acquisition of REIKU GmbH

Co­lo­gne, 3 April 2023 - Eb­ner Stolz has ad­vi­sed the French DEL­FIN­GEN Group (DEL­FIN­GEN), a lea­ding glo­bal ma­nu­fac­turer of ca­ble pro­tec­tion sys­tems, on the ac­qui­si­tion of REIKU GmbH (REIKU).

Foun­ded in 1954, DEL­FIN­GEN Group is to­day a lis­ted and fa­mily-run com­pany ba­sed in An­teuil (France). DEL­FIN­GEN is one of the world's lea­ding ma­nu­fac­turers of ca­ble pro­tec­tion sys­tems, par­ti­cu­larly in the au­to­mo­tive sec­tor and in in­dus­trial ap­pli­ca­ti­ons. The group ge­ne­ra­ted in 2022 sa­les of around EUR 420 mil­lion with ap­prox. 3,500 em­ployees at 28 pro­duc­tion sites in 21 coun­tries.

REIKU GmbH, foun­ded in 1969 and head­quar­te­red in Wiehl (North Rhine-West­pha­lia), ma­nu­fac­tures ca­ble pro­tec­tion sys­tems, pri­ma­rily for in­dus­trial ap­pli­ca­ti­ons in the fields of au­to­ma­tion and ro­botics.

DEL­FIN­GEN has grown stron­gly in re­cent years and has be­come in­cre­asin­gly in­ter­na­tio­nal. De­ve­lop­ment has been dri­ven both or­ga­ni­cally and in­or­ga­ni­cally. In the course of the group's in­ten­ded growth, DEL­FIN­GEN is con­ti­nuously loo­king for sui­ta­ble ac­qui­si­tion op­por­tu­nities.

The ma­jo­rity share­hol­ding in REIKU is the­re­fore a fur­ther mi­les­tone in achie­ving those stra­te­gic growth tar­gets. It fur­ther strengt­hens DEL­FIN­GEN’s mar­ket po­si­tion in the im­port­ant Ger­man mar­ket while also ac­ce­le­ra­ting its foot­print in the in­dus­trial sec­tor.

Eb­ner Stolz ad­vi­sed DEL­FIN­GEN th­rough an in­ter­di­sci­pli­nary team in the areas of M&A Ad­vi­sory, Fi­nan­cial and Tax Due Di­li­gence. The par­ties have agreed not to dis­close the fi­nan­cial terms of the tran­sac­tion.
