Ebner Stolz advises Magical Honour Limited on their acquisition of Matratzen Concord

Stutt­gart, 28^th Oc­to­ber 2019 - The au­dit and con­sul­ting firm Eb­ner Stolz ad­vi­ses Ma­gi­cal Ho­nour Li­mited (Ma­gi­cal) on its ac­qui­si­tion of Ma­trat­zen Con­cord by pro­vi­ding Fi­nan­cial Due Di­li­gence ser­vices.

Ma­gi­cal Ho­nour Li­mited, an in­vest­ment ve­hi­cle ow­ned by an Asian pri­vate equity in­ves­tor with close ties to the be­droom fur­ni­ture in­dus­try, has ac­qui­red 100% of the sha­res in BBH Ser­vices GmbH & Co. KG, BBH Be­tei­li­gungs GmbH, Ma­trat­zen Con­cord Ges­mbH in Aus­tria and Ma­trat­zen Con­cord (Schweiz) AG in Swit­zer­land (com­bi­ned Ma­trat­zen Con­cord).

The com­ple­tion of the purchase agree­ment for the take­over of Ma­trat­zen Con­cord by Ma­gi­cal Ho­nour should be fi­na­li­sed by the end of the year. The clo­sing of the tran­sac­tion is still sub­ject to clo­sing con­di­ti­ons.

Ma­trat­zen Con­cord is ac­tive wi­thin the DACH re­gion as the dis­tri­bu­tion chan­nel of the Dutch Be­ter Bed Hol­ding N.V. Be­ter Bed Hol­ding N.V. is a com­pany lis­ted on Eu­ron­ext Ams­ter­dam which spe­cia­li­ses in be­droom fur­ni­ture and re­la­ted pro­ducts.

Ma­trat­zen Con­cord was foun­ded in 1981 in Co­lo­gne and dis­tri­bu­tes its pro­ducts as a spe­cia­list dis­coun­ter on­line and in over 1,000 stores across Ger­many, Aus­tria and Swit­zer­land. Ma­trat­zen Con­cord is head­quar­te­red in Co­lo­gne, Ger­many.
