Stutt­gart, Ger­many, Sep­tem­ber 16, 2021 – The au­diting and con­sul­ting firm Eb­ner Stolz has ad­vi­sed Plan­meca Oy on the ac­qui­si­tion of the KaVo Tre­at­ment Unit & In­stru­ment busi­ness from En­vista Hol­dings Cor­po­ra­tion.

KaVo Tre­at­ment Unit & In­stru­ments is a lea­ding glo­bal de­ve­loper, ma­nu­fac­turer and supplier of in­dus­try de­fi­ning den­tal tre­at­ment units and in­stru­ments, with a glo­bally re­now­ned brand known for its over 100-year history in in­no­va­tion, cut­ting-edge de­sign, and high-qua­lity ma­nu­fac­tu­ring of den­tal equip­ment.

Plan­meca Oy has en­te­red into a bin­ding agree­ment to ac­quire the KaVo Tre­at­ment Unit & In­stru­ment busi­ness from En­vista Hol­dings Cor­po­ra­tion. The tran­sac­tion will strengt­hen Plan­meca’s and KaVo’s po­si­ti­ons as lea­ding pro­vi­ders of in­no­va­tive den­tal so­lu­ti­ons and in­crease Plan­meca Group’s an­nual re­ve­nue to more than EUR 1.1 bil­lion.

Eb­ner Stolz pro­vi­ded mul­ti­di­sci­pli­nary tran­sac­tion sup­port to Plan­meca Oy in­clu­ding fi­nan­cial, le­gal and tax due di­li­gence ser­vices as well as com­pre­hen­sive ad­vice on the pre­pa­ra­tion and ne­go­tia­tion of the SPA.
