Ebner Stolz advises HELLA on their disposal of the Danish and Polish wholesale business to Mekonomen

  • Eb­ner Stolz pro­vi­ded fi­nan­cial and tax ven­dor as­sis­tance ser­vices with the sup­port of Po­lish and Da­nish Ne­xia part­ner firms

Bonn, 12th July 2018 – The ac­coun­ting and con­sul­ting firm Eb­ner Stolz ad­vi­sed the Ger­man pu­blic lis­ted com­pany HELLA on their dis­po­sal of the Da­nish and Po­lish who­le­sale busi­ness by pro­vi­ding tran­sac­tion ad­vice, tax struc­tu­ring and the pre­pa­ra­tion of fi­nan­cial and tax fact books.

HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA which ranks among the worlds lea­ding au­to­mo­tive suppliers sells its Da­nish and Po­lish who­le­sale com­pa­nies, FTZ Au­to­dele & Verktoj A/S and In­ter-Team sp. z o.o., to the Swe­dish who­le­sa­ler Me­ko­no­men AB, the lea­ding car ser­vice chain in the Nor­dic re­gion. The sale is sub­ject to ap­pro­val by the re­le­vant an­ti­trust aut­ho­ri­ties and is ex­pec­ted to close in the third quar­ter 2018.

FTZ and In­ter-Team em­ploy a to­tal of around 2,500 peo­ple. The two who­le­sa­lers achie­ved to­tal sa­les of around EUR 480 mil­lion in the 2016/2017 fi­nan­cial year. This cor­re­sponds to about 7 per­cent of HELLA´s group con­so­li­da­tion sa­les.
