Ebner Stolz advises HELLA on their disposal of the Danish and Polish wholesale business to Mekonomen

Bonn, 12th July 2018 – The acco­un­ting and con­sul­ting firm Ebner Stolz advi­sed the Ger­man pub­lic lis­ted com­pany HELLA on their dis­po­sal of the Danish and Polish who­le­sale busi­ness by pro­vi­ding tran­sac­tion advice, tax struc­tu­ring and the pre­pa­ra­tion of finan­cial and tax fact books.

HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA which ranks among the worlds lea­ding auto­mo­tive sup­p­liers sells its Danish and Polish who­le­sale com­pa­nies, FTZ Auto­dele & Verk­toj A/S and Inter-Team sp. z o.o., to the Swe­dish who­le­sa­ler Meko­no­men AB, the lea­ding car ser­vice chain in the Nor­dic region. The sale is sub­ject to appro­val by the rele­vant anti­trust aut­ho­ri­ties and is expec­ted to close in the third quar­ter 2018.

FTZ and Inter-Team emp­loy a total of around 2,500 people. The two who­le­sa­lers achie­ved total sales of around EUR 480 mil­lion in the 2016/2017 finan­cial year. This cor­res­ponds to about 7 per­cent of HELLA´s group con­so­li­da­tion sales.
