Ebner Stolz advises BBB Industries LLC on its acquisition of MAPCO Autotechnik GmbH

Stutt­gart, Fe­bru­ary 23, 2022 - Au­diting and con­sul­ting firm Eb­ner Stolz pro­vi­ded com­pre­hen­sive fi­nan­cial, le­gal and tax due di­li­gence sup­port to Me­tal­caucho in the course of its ac­qui­si­tion of MAPCO. 

MAPCO was foun­ded in 1977 in Brück, Ger­many, and is spe­cia­li­sed in the dis­tri­bu­tion and de­sign of a wide range of spare parts and ac­cess­ories to the au­to­mo­tive af­ter­mar­ket. MAPCO has nine re­gio­nal cen­tres across Ger­many along with ope­ra­ti­ons in France as well as the United King­dom which serve to­ge­ther the ent­ire Eu­ro­pean mar­ket. 

BBB In­dus­tries LLC, foun­ded in 1987 and head­quar­te­red in Daphne, Ala­bama, is an in­dus­try lea­der in the sus­tai­nable ma­nu­fac­tu­ring of star­ters, al­ter­na­tors, hy­drau­lic car parts and tur­bo­ch­ar­gers for both OEMs and the pas­sen­ger car and in­dus­trial and com­mer­cial ve­hi­cles af­ter­mar­ket. Th­rough Me­tal­caucho, BBB In­dus­tries also supplies the au­to­mo­tive af­ter­mar­ket across more than 64 coun­tries.

The ac­qui­si­tion of MAPCO of­fers BBB In­dus­tries the op­por­tu­nity to ex­pand into the Ger­man mar­ket. Fur­ther, the pro­duct range can be ex­pan­ded by ad­ding ap­prox. 30,000 parts to the exis­ting port­fo­lio. With MAPCO, a re­spec­ted brand that has the re­pu­ta­tion of of­fe­ring qua­lity-cer­ti­fied au­to­mo­tive re­pla­ce­ments,  BBB In­dus­tries can bring re­mar­ka­ble va­lue to its exis­ting and new cu­st­omer re­la­ti­ons­hips by pro­vi­ding su­pe­rior pro­ducts and ser­vice.
