Stuttgart, June 21, 2021 - The auditing and consulting firm Ebner Stolz advised Freudenberg Chemical Specialities SE & Co. KG (FCS) on the acquisition of Deurowood Holding GmbH.

FCS develops, manufactures and distributes chemical specialities, helping to optimise the service life, performance, quality and surface finish of components, systems and machines. Headquartered in Munich, FCS-Group owns subsidiaries in more than 40 countries worldwide, employs around 3,800 people and generated revenues of about EUR 1.1 bn in 2020.

Deurowood-Group, founded in 2003, is a leading global provider of additives for the paper impregnation, laminates industry and provides its excellent expertise in the application field of engineered wood. Deurowood’s services and management competence are appreciated from customers all over the world. The company is headquartered in Hard (Austria) and delivers its products to customers in 40 countries on all continents.

Ebner Stolz accompanied the transaction with a financial and tax due diligence as well as SPA advisory services. For tax issues, Ebner Stolz was supported by the Austrian NEXIA member CONSULTATIO Wirtschaftsprüfung GmbH & Co KG.
