Ebner Stolz advises NEXUS AG on the acquisition of the RVC Medical IT Group

• The soft­ware pro­vi­der NE­XUS AG ac­qui­res 93% of the sha­res of RVC Me­di­cal IT Hol­ding B.V. and its sub­si­dia­ries in Nether­lands, Bel­gium and Ger­many.
• With this ac­qui­si­tion, the NE­XUS Group gains a re­cog­nised and in­ter­na­tio­nally ac­tive team of ex­perts for struc­tu­red dia­gnostic fin­dings and image pro­ces­sing in hos­pi­tals.
• Eb­ner Stolz is the ad­vi­sor to the NE­XUS Group in the con­text of fi­nan­cial and tax due di­li­gence.

Stutt­gart, Oc­to­ber 1st, 2020 – The au­diting and con­sul­ting firm Eb­ner Stolz has ad­vi­sed NE­XUS AG, Eu­rope’s lea­ding health­care soft­ware pro­vi­der, on the ac­qui­si­tion of 93% of the sha­res in RVC Me­di­cal IT Hol­ding B.V. and its sub­si­dia­ries.

The NE­XUS Group de­ve­lops and dis­tri­bu­tes soft­ware so­lu­ti­ons for the in­ter­na­tio­nal health­care mar­ket and is con­side­red as an in­no­va­tive and Eu­rope-wide lea­ding pro­vi­der of hos­pi­tal in­for­ma­tion sys­tems (HIS). The com­pany is the mar­ket lea­der in nu­me­rous spe­cial dia­gnostic so­lu­ti­ons, par­ti­cu­larly in the areas of ra­dio­logy, cy­to­logy, oph­thal­mo­logy, pa­tho­logy, gastro­en­tero­logy, car­dio­logy and gy­na­eco­logy.

The in­ter­na­tio­nal RVC Me­di­cal IT Group with sub­si­dia­ries in the Nether­lands, Bel­gium and Ger­many has been ac­tive in the field of pro­ces­sing and ar­chi­ving me­di­cal data for more than 20 years. The com­pany, with around 70 em­ployees, is one of the most suc­cess­ful pro­vi­ders of cli­ni­cal "En­ter­prise Ima­ging Soft­ware" in the Be­ne­lux coun­tries. With pro­ducts for the in­te­gra­tion of ima­ging pro­ce­du­res and si­gnal pro­ces­sing, which are also mar­ke­ted in Ger­many and Bel­gium, RVC Me­di­cal IT has a mar­ket share of 50% in the Nether­lands.

With this ac­qui­si­tion, the NE­XUS Group gains a re­cog­nised and in­ter­na­tio­nally ac­tive team of ex­perts for struc­tu­red dia­gnostic fin­dings and image pro­ces­sing in hos­pi­tals. The RVC Me­di­cal IT has ex­cel­lent know-how in cli­ni­cal pro­ces­ses in spe­cia­list de­part­ments and in the in­te­gra­tion of ima­ging equip­ment. While the RVC Me­di­cal IT will be­ne­fit from know­ledge trans­fer and syn­ergy ef­fects in the fu­ture, the NE­XUS Group will be able to fur­ther ac­ce­le­rate its growth and in­ter­na­tio­na­li­sa­tion.

Eb­ner Stolz pro­vi­ded com­pre­hen­sive sup­port to NE­XUS AG in the course of the ac­qui­si­tion with fi­nan­cial and tax due di­li­gence in coope­ra­tion with the in­ter­na­tio­nal Ne­xia net­work.
