Mu­nich, 05th June 2018 – The Con­sul­ting firm Eb­ner Stolz ad­vi­sed Lon­don-ba­sed AL­LI­ANCE AU­TO­MO­TIVE GROUP (AAG) in the ac­qui­si­tion of the Ger­man fa­mily-ow­ned HEN­NIG FAHR­ZEUG­TEILE UN­TER­NEH­MENS­GRUPPE in­clu­ding its 13 ope­ra­ting le­gal en­ti­ties by pro­vi­ding fi­nan­cial and tax due di­li­gence as well as SPA sup­port.

Jean-Jaques La­font, CEO of AAG com­men­ted: „We are ex­ci­ted to wel­come HEN­NIG FAHR­ZEUG­TEILE wi­thin our or­ga­niza­tion. With this ac­qui­si­tion we fur­ther pur­sue our ex­pan­sion plans in Ger­many and now dis­pose of an ad­di­tio­nal com­pe­ti­tive lo­gistic net­work to serve our cu­st­omers.” Uwe Hen­nig, Ma­na­ging Di­rec­tor of HEN­NIG FAHR­ZEUG­TEILE, ad­ded: “I am de­ligh­ted that HEN­NIG FAHR­ZEUG­TEILE has found a new home with AAG. Our cu­st­omers and em­ployees will be­ne­fit from the ex­pe­ri­ence and the in­ter­na­tio­nal net­work of AAG.” Mo­re­over, with this tran­sac­tion busi­ness suc­ces­sion was se­cu­red, parts of the cur­rent Ma­nage­ment will re­main post-clo­sing. 

Lon­don-ba­sed AAG be­longs to the US-Ame­ri­can com­pany GE­NUINE PARTS COM­PANY. It is amongst Eu­rope’s lea­ding au­to­mo­tive spare parts pro­vi­ders, supp­ly­ing over 100,000 dif­fe­rent parts to about 1,500 who­le­sa­lers and 26,000 work­shops, earning re­ve­nues of about EUR2 bil­lion.

HEN­NIG FAHR­ZEUG­TEILE UN­TER­NEH­MENS­GRUPPE, head­quar­te­red in Es­sen (North Rhine-West­pha­lia) is a me­dium si­zed com­pany with 31 bran­ches and more than 9,000 cu­st­omers. Ge­ne­ra­ting re­ve­nues of more than EUR160 mil­lion it has be­come a lea­ding Eu­ro­pean pro­vi­der in the pas­sen­ger and com­mer­cial ve­hi­cle seg­ments.
